Well, if you have Windows XP Professional, it would be easier to solve the problem than in my case. Just follow the refraction guidelines and I think you should be okay.

If your Windows XP Pro still have problems with it, try to do the Microsoft's way: http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms190730.aspx
The link above also related with SQL Server.

He's referring to the source code of the emulator. See attachment for what he's talking about.

he is asking if any brazilian managed to run pcsx2 VM.

Well, I can't use VM version either and I haven't see any portuguese/brazilian user who did. I think that pscx2 VM is not compatible with portuguese versions of win xp pro sp2

Hi,
I am trying disable "lock pages" because after I added my username when running PCSX2 the first time, I ran into some odd behavior in other games. (Winxp Home SP2, after about 5 minutes, the game that worked fine before would hang for about thirty seconds or so, and then when it came back the graphics would be corrupt 9 times out of 10. Quitting the game and coming back in the graphics were still corrupt).
So I am looking at zerofrogs suggestion and I opened WinMain.c, changed the TRUE value to FALSE to disable it in line:

if( !SysLoggedSetLockPagesPrivilege( GetCurrentProcess(), FALSE ) )

I do not know VC, so do I need to purchase a compiler to recompile it or is there some other file in the zipped package to recompile it.
