Fully Functional Excep music
I've got mine fully functional but the music is really chopy for some reason. I think it has to do with either to high of an FPS limit or the XA sound used in the game. Anyway here are my settings.
Video: P.E.Op.S. SoftX Driver 1.17
Configuration:
RESOLUTION:
Fullscreen mode is checked
Windowed mode is unchecked
Both fullscreen and window mode are set at 640x480
Stretching mode = 0: Full size stretch
Dithering = 1: Game dependend
FRAMERATE:
All except "Use FPS limit" are unchecked and Framrate FPS is set to 200
OPTIONS:
everything is Disabled.
Sound: P.E.Op. OSS Audio Driver 1.8
Everything is checked in the main menu.
Configuration:
GENERAL SETTINGS:
Volume = 2: Loud
Reverb = 2: PSX reverb (best quality)
Interpolation = 2: gaussian interpolation (good quality)
XA MUSIC:
Enable XA playing is checked
Change XA speed, if it is played too fast is unchecked
MISC:
High compatibility mode = unchecked
SPU IRQ - wait for cpu action (enable it for a few games) = checked
Mono sound is unchecked
NOTE: Sound is very choppy with these settings and I have tried everything I can to try and fix them. Also note that I am running Linux but the configuration should be the same. Also I am using cdrmooby to handle my cdroms. Although the latest version seems to have bugs in so I would recomend downloading 2.7.
