i am just wondering that if a Utopia Book Disk will enable for you to play a 60Hz game on a UK pal TV without any flickering problem?

and ive been looking for tgese thins and i heard there is like 1.1 and 1.2, but there have been sayings about 1.3 and 1.5 and that they were fake.

May i ask exactly what are they? are they like patched up book disks? or are they older versions of the boot disk but just renamed differently?

another thing, i think the utopia boot disk is in ntsc, so that could also be a problem.

but as hushy said, its a boot loader, afaik it doesnt alter any aspect of the game, that includes the refresh rate

Utopia works fine for some import games such as NHL2k2, but it didn't boot Baldr Force Exe correctly, certain parts of the screen flickered a lot and I had a lot of lines missing.

My fav loader is the Blaze Xploder DC sample disc. I can make an ISO out of it and upload it here. Maybe Bobbi can host it at NGEmu as well seeing how this one works better as a bootdisc than Utopia, and this one won't get any warez working afaik.

However, I don't know if the game will be running alright on that old tv of yours, because it doesn't change the 60 hz signal to a 50hz one.

Edit: Oh wait, he got his arse banned :p Maybe if someone is interested I can still upload it here.

Also, can someone merge these two thread because it is really confusing discussing the same thing in two thread.

All those names are confusing me as well, I think we're talking about the same one though :) One may call it gameshark CDX, while the disc itself talks about Blaze.

Did I send you a link to that mega site for games? Or did I give you an image?
