Saving states work with GSsoft plugin too but its a bit buggy and really slow, it works better with the PCSX2 0.9 (WIP).
Gsdx9 is better, less crashes and much more efficient
what I meant is that you sadly can not use the GSDX savestates on the GSSoft plugin. That's why they don't work.

So can we play Kindom hearts, or Zone of the enders or any other ps2 game, in 0.9 without memory saves and patches, now that the IPU has been fixed, or no? :( :hdbash: :hdbash: :thumb: :???:
At the present time, IPU is broke again. So only time will tell.;)

umm not really broken again, just FFX and a couple of other games, its still improved on quite a few, why its broke on ffx again is very puzzling, i think it was fortunate that it worked, maybe a one off.

What do you mean when you say that it has broken again? It has not fixed? I mean is it a possiblity to fixed until the 0.9 release?
Or it works only with a few games, so we will need patch for others games that dont work? :(

more games still work with it and IPU has improved! its just very picky on timing, getting this right is proving to be more difficult than expected.

altho we can tweak IPU to work on one game, then it wont work on a host of others, just like when you bugfix anything

I dont understand.. :( If it works in 1 game, then why it wont work in the others? I think that it is a good idea, to put in the compatblity list what games are working with IPU and what not. So you say that it will improved more until the 0.9 release? I mean is it a possiblity to work with more games than now before the 0.9 release?

PS: I believe that IPU is something VERY important, and that it wiill increase greatly the PCSX2 comptablity! So i think that you must ALL try to fix the IPU as soon as possible, it is a little boring if you have to make patch for evry game, that you want to play...

if a game works a game works, theres no need for special info on the compatability list. if IPU was stopping it, it wont be now if it fixes it, so it will have an improved status.

if you dont own the game it doesnt matter, if you do all you need to know is what the status is

the IPU is only one of the 7+ cpus PCSX2 has to emulate....bare in mind...im not 100% on this and refraction or pcsx2 devs can tell me wrong...but the VU0 and VU1 take up mostly 90% of the ps2's power....I would rather have them focus on the 90% than the 10%

You see, i have a few games that pcsx2 v.08 has not patch for, so i want know do i need to make a patch to run them in 0.9, or i will be able to run them without making a pacth in 0.9? And i believe that it is very important to make some specilal info in compatblity list about IPU, because i think that the players must know what games are worked without pacthes, what not.

Not forgetting patches are not just used for IPU, but things like GIF_STAT, removing all 2D or 3D, bypassing sound, bypassing memcard checks etc...

If the game needs a patch it will be in the patches folder with the 0.9 release (based on the 500+ games we test, that should cover alot of people).

Also noting that the compat list changes every day, so one minute the game needs a patch, the next minute it won't, then it might....simply put, all you need to know is that you can go ingame / play / get to menus etc

What do you mean when you say that a game need a pacth one minute, but next minute it wont? Do you mean that a problem who will have a game1 day it has fixed the next day, so if a game was need a pacth 1 week ago, now it wont need it, because the problem has been fixed? So does it means that some games who need a patch to work today :( :p , maybe they dont need it in 0.9 release, because the problems will be fixed until then?
