k i know there are two other threads but one says spoilers so i dont want to open it and one is about the doom 3 in genral. so i thought i would start another thread... anyway im not sure what to do he has those watcher things i destroy and more come out. do i have to destroy the watchers then when he is getting them again start shooting him or is that voice just advice. please help without spoiling it if possilbe

Just keep killing the monsters e shooting cyberdemon (shoot him hard ! ), and keep using the soulcube too. Since you dont want spoilers, keep doing that... you will eventually kill cyberdemon

You have those watchers? You mean seekers?
That is not the final boss, but the Guardian. Yeah, I know the Guardian looks so much like the Cyber Demon. (Why couldn't ID Software used the Spider Mastermind?)
You only get the Soul Cube after you defeat the Guardian.
You have to kill off the seekers with your chaingun or plasma gun. The BFG is good to knock out a group of them.
Once you killed off all the seekers, the Guardian will start spawning new ones. There will be a blue energy orb on his back when he starts the process. Shoot the blue orb with your BFG or rockets.
Once the Guardian finishes spawning new seekers, repeat the process again.

yeah thats how you kill the guardian... and now you know how to kill cyberdemon too, im sorry but that was your fault...
and RZetlin the siper mastermind whold be A LOT cooler hehe =D a shame they did not used her...

There should be ammo around the area.
Do you have the audio on? The Soul Cube tells you that the Guardian can only be hurt if the seekers are destroyed first.

It's faster to kill the Cyber Demon with the Soul Cube, plus it charges up your health.psyco199br said:
For the final boss, just run around and kill off the imps and maggots that appear and charge up the Soul Cube. Throw the Soul Cube at the Cyber Demon. It takes about 3-4 hits to kill him.

Heh, the guardian stumped me when I first fought him. I kind of knew what I had to do but I shot at the guardian instead of the blue light. He's not too hard, just shoot down the seekers with the rocket launcher and give him a few BFG shots or rockets while he's spawning new ones.
I used up my BFG shots when I fought the cyberdemon, although I missed a few times. I had to use the plasma gun for the rest of the battle. I killed him with the soul cube the third time I used it.

J/K, I play to many probly. Yah, the guardian was somewhat interestingly thaught of to defeat. Took me a min or two to really click on what/when to shoot it. Cyberdemon on the otherhand, I wasn't in the room with it more then 45 seconds and it was dead. Not hard to figure out really, you're given an uber weapon, that regens your own life when it kills something. Work the peons, and flip the cube at the Cyberdemon, and bingo, its super easy. I was waiting for like a second stage of the final boss, cause I thaught that couldn't be it. Oh well.
