Resident Evil - FMV and FPS Problems

Whenever a FMV comes up while playing, the screen gets smaller and the sides have bad graphic problems such as flashing colors, the FMV is only shown in the middle

The FPS slows down dramatically from 60 to about 10 in certain areas, such as when fighting the snake in the mansion and spiders in the guardhouse, anyone know how to fix these two issues?

Post your system specs and plugin settings. Have you tried making an ISO?

yes RE is in .iso form already

I thought i put up a pic of the video config, ill try again, hmm its not working I went to manage attachments and added it in .bmp form and under the size limit

lets try this Video Config

specs:
p4 2gig
gf4 mx 440
512ram

The answer to that is not to use bitmaps. Compress it as a JPG or PNG.

Anyway, you could try changing Framebuffer Textures/Access to 2/3

And disable "keep psx aspect ratio"

Hmm all that did was take away the background and make her be walking in a black screen, still the FPS problem

Disable full vram primitives (fvp) and make sure you set "off screen drawing" to 2 or 3 (maximum value).

Ok guys the fps only dropped to about 25-40 this time around, I can deal with that, thanks
