Best racing game for PC

Hi all

Ive got some spare cash (and yes i've donated some to ngemu.com!!!) and want to know what the best PC racing game is. I want to race online as well as against the computer. Not into rally that much. I was thinking about Midnight Club II.

I prefer Need for Speed Underground to Midnight Club 2, but my all-time favorite PC racing game is probably Screamer Rally or Screamer 2

Yeah i liked screamer 2. Ive got the demo of need for speed underground and it doesn't say "buy me!" I'm just about to download midnight club II demo.

i'm really waiting for gran turismo 4 for my ps2 to come out! but i want something to tide me over. Then ill wait for pcsx2 to be developed further and then i can play gran turismo 4 on my pc!! Yeah... i think that might be a long way off!!

right now im a bigger fan of midnight club2 than nfsu, but they're both good games.

Well i have downloaded both nfsu and midnight club 2 demos and i prefer nfsu which is a shame cause it costs more!! i think ill just wait for gran turismo 4 for my ps2 unless anyone has some other suggestions? cheers

I forgot to mention Pro Race Driver, which I just got for PC. It's quite realistic and the AI is quite challenging, especially in the Free Race where difficulty is adjustable.
I guess you're a big fan of Gran Turismo... Well Pro Race Driver in comparison is much more like real racing, and much less street racing. At least the cars are based on street cars. If you don't mind a different driving style, give it a try.
It's available for PS2, PC, and Xbox.

come on that's a pretty good game , and lotus was good too (i was waiting for a sequel , but they didn't do it :angry: )
