Monty Python's Life of Brian --->> Someone mistaken to be Jesus.
American History X -->> Great story

My favorite movies are usually the sci-fi ones ;)

Let me see, 2001: A Space Odyssey is my favorite by far. But you can only enjoy it fully if you read all the tetralogy of books. I guess that most people here think that this movie is boring

Blade Runner is high on my list too, as is "The Day the Earth Stood Still".

LotR is good, but the books are better. If they had not put so many cliches in the movies I would put LotR at a higher position, though. Anyway they are great movies.

And of course all the Star Trek movies rock, specially Star Trek II: The Wrath of Kahn, which IMHO is the best Star Trek movie ever made. In fact, Star Trek II stands as one of my favorite movies as well.

Stephen King movies are usually very good too, but the books are better (as always ;) ). Pet Sematary is one of my favorites, though.

Pirates of the Caribbean was Brilliant Also...Best Movie I've seen in years aside from lord of the rings...american historey x was good...and fear and loathing in las vegas was one of the most demented but funny movie's i have ever seen...

The Sound Of Music

:rotflmao:

I liked the animaniacs rendition of that movie.

Recently the descendent children of the REAL Von Trapp (sp) family played the children in that play in a local production of it in my town. I heard something funny about the movie. When you see them crossing the mountains on foot at the end of the movie, that part was made up...they REALLY took a train :p.

Probably one of It's a Wonderful Life, The Shawshank Redemption, and The Usual Suspcts

Number 1. ****Blade 2***, Vanilla Sky, Jurassic Park series, Aliens series, Predator 1 and 2, The Matrix 1 and 2, Equilibrium
-+-+-+-> Yeah man, Blade 1 & 2 was the ****!! I love the dark, brutal style of that flick. The best movie ever so far for me would have to be "The Matrix" . "Matrix Reloaded" had mediocre character development and suffered from "sequelitis". I'm hoping "Revolutions" saves the trilogy. Second best movie for me would have to be "Terminator 2: Judgement Day" . It has a solid visual style to it that can't be topped. Movies have to have a solid story and visual style for me to like it. I guess I'm a sucker for sci-fi.

kane, I knew you would say The Shawshank Redemption. You're always talking about how go that is.

Godfather is always good. I really like Jurrasic Park. Saving Private Ryan is another one of my favorites.

I've got to go with Syntron, I thought T2 was better. The first one still kicks ass though! Third wasnt bad either.

First Blood. The first Rambo movie, it kicks ass! It's great when he takes out all the cops in the forest!
