Can someone please tell me how to configure ePSXe to work with FF9 ?

Maybe this will help you :
My PC :
- Win200
- Intel Pentium 4 - 1.8 GHz
- NVIDIA GeeForce 3 Ti 200 (64 Mb)
- 384 Mb SDRAM

I have ePSXe 1.6 and also PSeven 0.17

and i don't get FF9 working with these emulators.

So would you please help me and tell me what plugins you use, or how you did configure them etc.

It would be very nice.

One thing else, i have the cds of ff9 and an *.img ImageFile made with CloneCD.
Both don't work.

Make an effort, type "FF9" and "settings" in the search box and you'll find plenty of threads...
or search Lord Kane's posts and click his sig

EDIT: just noticed that it doesn't work at all for you
it's due to the protection, try DLing the PPF patch (the PPf must match with your game version)

Well, I answer this kind of question almost once a day, so it can get boring sometimes :p

but concerning the PPF, I can't give you any link here since the only site I know with lots of PPF has illegal content (try mailing me;))

Sorry, to but in here, but I have a problem, and it's kind of along the same line. I've gotten through FF IX, and Im at the last seen where Zidane is sitting next to a dying Kuja in the Iifa tree. Then the movie starts to roll, and the screen gos blank and ePSXe freezes. Anybody got an answer?

Try ePSXe 1.5.2 rather than 1.6.0

Why? A couple of games are broken in the new release yeah, and they happen to be Square games (FF9 and CC in particular), but they are entirely unrelated problems.

yeah, i guess in fixing a couple of other problems like GT2 and putting multitap i guess they just screwed up a couple other things...

oh well....ill just switch back to 1.5.2 for the ending off FF9...no problems so far

I have a .ISO that I made with Blindwrite 4.5.
Do I still need the ppf patch. I have heard that you don't need the patch with an ISO, only if your running it from a CD.

You'll need a patch if your ISO isn't made with CloneCD (AFAIK, it's the only prog that writes subchannel datas into a file)
