Just been testing a new PCSX2 beta with GSmax, and got some nice results :D

WTA Tennis Tour USA (J) (NTSC)

The shots speak for themselves :D

System:
winME
1.7GHz AMD
256MB RAM
GeForce 4 MX 440

PCSX2
Recompiler / GSmax 1.2Beta / PCSX2 0.5b (sep 20th)

Oh my god! Great shots! PCSX2 is finally seeing some 3D models. Keep up the great work PCSX2 team! And plugin authors. :D

Ya does it show any 3D models with other games? Come on! Test Test! Show Show! :p

Nice screenshots, CKemu!!! :)

I got the new beta too... but my screenshot is not as spectacular as yours!!! :heh:

For those wondering what it is: this blue flashing rectangle is from the game Ka (Mr Mosquito, japanese version)... it's from the memory card error screen...
Not a lot but it's very nice to see another game starting to show something IMO...

BTW I tested Fantavision with GSmax too, but altough I was able to get in-game no 3D graphics were displayed... :(

You able to test SPU2ghz also?

When I run it (I get 1Fps at best) I get clicking sound, so that's a good sign.
Tested with 0.5 (sep. 22) using gssoftdx, maybe using gsmax you'll have enough Fps in the bios to actually hear what type of sound is coming out?

my plugin isn't perfect :p don't expect that clicks to be the real sound :p

it clicks sometimes... but probably that clicks aren't the correct sound (I'm havimg a lot of problems with that :p ). i will not be able to fully develop it until I get more decent speeds (20fps in the jap. 1.0 bios isn't enough and the other bios i tried are slower).

Yeah before I asked someone I verified in the code it is at least queing up sound buffers and whatnot, though the speed of course is going to be an issue for quite some time, I guess it gives you lots of time to work on the plugin before people will really need it.

Good work so far.

Yeah, we're working on it but it's really kinda hard to change certain code that could actually be creating the exact sound and because of speed problems we end up changing that and the sound distorts if you follow me congratulations cause i just confused the **** out of myself.
