Are you using the same config? IIRC if you're at higher resolution it will slow down [ or we can called it laggy :D ]

Wanna know what sucks. I cant get the speed right. With FRAPS the free one it goes full speed and is smooth but with fraps commecial it goes laggy. WTF!? Can someone else test it with sound?
I take it you have a 500mhz comp instead of a 5ghz? Well, running an emu, then taking a movie, then trying to capture the sound also can be very taxing. You may need a bit more speed to get it just right.

Well Im at 640X480 with all options on and the game ruins at a steady 60fps. No slowdowsn really. Yea I think Reich is right. I think the sound makes it lag because my computer is soooo slow. :(

Its the same with vcd's etc. I used to take 11 hrs just to encode the video&audio together. Now on my current computer it does double the quality and takes less time (around maybe 9hrs) to complete.

Thats how long 1 CD is taking for me with video and audio ... ahhh yes good old slow crappy computer

/kicks computer :???:

What in the world are you guys using?! 9 hours for a VCD? On my Athlon 1ghz I usually managed 4 hours using SmartRipper and Flask. I'd split with TMPGEnc. All that was left after that was the burning, which Nero handled just fine. :)

9 Hrs was for starwars AOTC, a fairly long movie. I forget what settings I used, I make svcd's now and they just run over night, I wouldnt know how long they take.
