ok, sorry that these screenshots don't show maxed out detail; it barely runs on a p3 800 with gf4mx, allthough so far it's playable.

heh.I think it's sort of a marketing ploy, like the one they did when the UT2003 demo was first released. Yeah, they had this '3D splash screen' with a round logo saying 'NVIDIA: The way it's meant to be played' or something like that. Sort of like what Intel is doing: if you've got the cash, advertise like hell. Almost on every street corner I see a P4 poster. On TV, P4 ads show almost every hour or every other minute (on some channels). It's like shoving down Pentiums on our throats, when it reality AMD chips actually outperform Intel chips (3D games, media encoding). I'm not saying NVIDIA chips are bad (in fact, I'm selling my Ti 4400 once GeForce FX 5200 Ultras are mass produced). It's a just advertising, you know.

ps2 is the best selling console; not that many people here have it.
Most of the time whenever there's a new pc game a bunch of people post screenies...
now MGS2pc came out, supposedly not an unpopular title, on dvd only; now I know not everyone has a DVD drive but me and astroduck are the only ones posting screens....why do not more people have the game?

it's just that if 10% of the screenshots posted here on ngemu actually involve legal games, it would be much.
example...the sudden increase in xenogears popularity last year...and suddenly many people have the game...at the same time a not-so-legal version is floating around the net....
