ok, sorry that these screenshots don't show maxed out detail; it barely runs on a p3 800 with gf4mx, allthough so far it's playable.
I think it's sort of a marketing ploy, like the one they did when the UT2003 demo was first released. Yeah, they had this '3D splash screen' with a round logo saying 'NVIDIA: The way it's meant to be played' or something like that. Sort of like what Intel is doing: if you've got the cash, advertise like hell. Almost on every street corner I see a P4 poster. On TV, P4 ads show almost every hour or every other minute (on some channels). It's like shoving down Pentiums on our throats, when it reality AMD chips actually outperform Intel chips (3D games, media encoding). I'm not saying NVIDIA chips are bad (in fact, I'm selling my Ti 4400 once GeForce FX 5200 Ultras are mass produced). It's a just advertising, you know.Originally posted by rei_fox
