It's a plugin specific thing.

To get a picture of your plugin settings, get the plugin config screen up and press Print Screen on your keyboard, then paste it into a paint program.
You could also post your plugin settings by clicking "copy settings to clipboard" in the plugin config screen and then pasting it into your post (the button may only be availiable in Pete's and P.E.Op.S plugins though, I don't use any others).

If you want to take a screenshot of just the plugin screen press Alt+Print Screen on the keyboard. Pressing just Print Screen will take a snapshot of your whole desktop.:)

from ePSXe's English readme

3.2 Controlling the emulator

ePSXe supports direct input and also features an option which allows you
to configure the pads through the GUI. It is very simple and intuitive :
Click config -> game pads -> pad1/pad2 (the one you want to configure),
and you will see a picture of a pad and some fields with the names of
the keys. Select the psx button what you want configure and then hit the
key you want to assign to it. (in case you want use a joystick, hit the
joystick button instead of a key).

From ePSXe 1.2.0 you can select the analog axis that you want to use,
selecting the axis to configure and moving the axis in your joystick.
You can also configure the effect that will be done in every motor
in the force feedback. (Burutter is used in a special PSX to USB pad
converter that you can get from www.burutter.com)

ePSXe includes 8 fast keys to change some param of the emu:

- F1-Savestate in selected slot.
- F2-Increase slot. (max = 5)
- F3-Loadstate from selected slot.
- F4-Enable/Disable SIO irq.
- F5-Toggle Digital pad/Special pad (*).
- F6-Enable/Disable Xa sound/read.
- F7-Enable Xenogeras trick.

- F8-Make a snapshot to snap directory.

(*) Special pad can be: None, Analog pad, Analog pad with mouse T1,
Analog pad with mouse T2, and mouse.
I know the problem was solved, but the solution was/is/will be still in the readme ;)

And, Lord Kane, the F8 for taking snapshot isn't plugin specific, it's an ePSXe's feature (the same on P©SX, IIRC).

Thx, bye

REally? I thought it was a plugn thing owing to the very different method that PEOPs usees. BTWW, PSXeven uses the same key.

yes, I think all the 3 major PSX emus (I mean, ePSXe, P©SX and PSXeven) use a lot of same "F" keys:

F1 > Save state
F2 > Choose slot
F3 > Load state
F8 > Take a snap

Thx, bye

well... what more to use? there are lots of more keys that I use as gamepad emu only, and I use even different for each emu, but I have never even thing on using those, they are just so much appart and well... they wont even work ;p

For what it's worth, I think that another easy way to save your plugin setting is using the epsxecutor's export configuration, provided that you have to use epsxecutor as frontend. It will save in *.reg files and could be imported without going thru the setting up process again, one by one. Plus, you could have multiple configurations for each plugin settings for any games that you have so that you don't have to change it now and then eg. digital/analog pad, cdrom timing, etc.
