Yes it is an excellent RPG. It is indeed Origin's creation and it was available on the C-64 Computer, the original 8 bit Nintendo, and the Amiga. AFAIK, it was never available on the PC. It is worth having on any of the three platforms.

Yup, Kaiser Sigma, I have played Eye of the Beholder and it was enjoyable. Not the "best in the West" but fun never-the-less.

...I'm also not too sure if there was a PC version. I -remotely- remember seeing a PC box in a PC games store but its been many years and I can't clearly remember :)

...I can confirm the existance of at least 2 more versions, though. I first saw the game running on a Spectrum. I liked it a lot, and got it for my CPC. So we also have a Spectrum & a CPC version !!! ...quite a popular game I'd say. :)

I don't know what was the worst thing... the load times or to play the game with the Genesis gamepad ;)
But I enjoyed the game quite a lot, not my favorite but it was fun...
...Wow !! ...I never knew that a SegaCD version existed !! ...thanks for the info, Kaiser Sigma :)

There's also a version for the Snes, though I couldn't find it anywhere at that time... the SegaCD version was quite good (aside from the two problems that I mentioned) specially the audio stuff, but then again it's what you would expect from a CD game ;)

Thanks Exodus.
Eye of the Beholder on the SNES is all right, I have it. I also saw the Sega CD version but was never interested enough to get it.
