Best looking game to run under ePSXe?

What do you think is the best looking game to run under ePSXe?

Personally I think Gran Turismo 2 looks really good under ePSXe. The graphics look almost like PS2 graphics.

I would say either Xenogears or Vagrant Story. Both of them truly excel in an emulator.

from a real psx to emulation...hmm, I probably say the most improved would be MGS & Xenogears ...especially with TVout

Pretty much any PSX game released in the last year or so of its prime.

Gran Turismo 2 definately. Einhander, FF9, Ridge Racer 4, and I just picked up Rage Racer but don't know what it looks like yet, I haven't tried it. Wipeout 3 is very clean lookin on ePSXe. Tekken 3. Lots of games look really good.

FF7 battle scenes look pretty good with the right gfx plugins (d3d)
and Xenogears is pretty decent too...

Why do soem games appear better on a moniter screen (as opposed to a TV) then others?

Compared to a TV and a computer monitor, a computer monitor has a high resolution than a TV set.

Plus the 3D graphic card in a PC is much better than the graphic card in the PSX.

but Xenogears gaphics are not 100% emulated well due to the graphical engine this game has. I mean the chracters look like blocks pilled on top of each other. Ofcourse the game itself looks better on the emu than the psx, but if i have to make a choice, I'd say Megaman Legends II ( it looks better on epsxe than the PC version

) Parasite Eve II , Final Fantasy 8 and Metal Gear Solid.....

I am a huge fan of ff9. The textures render beautifully In my opinion. Especially...er...well throught the whole game.

I really think that I have yet find a game that was pleaseing to look at. It is a matter of trial and error to get the game set up correctly.

i would have to say ff7 and ff9 parasite eve 1 an 2 and xenogears they all look like PS2 games!!! plus lots others!!

Vagrant Story really looks great in EPSXE. And Tony Hawks 2 in EPSXE is better than the PC version

Gauntlet Legends, Pac Man World, Ms Pac Man Maze Madness, Dino Crisis, Alundra 2, Wild Arms 2, Castlevania SOTN, Doom, and there are more, but those come most readily to mind.

Worms Armageddon I thought looked terrible on the psx and on ePSXe. The pc version looks alot better.
