There's a new overclocking BIOS by Cheepoman for the K7S5A released last November 5, and it's based on the recently released 021001 official ECS BIOS. I've already flashed it and everything looks great and stable, as always. (I wonder where AtomicFeline got that info that SiS chipsets are crap
)
It now supports Thoroughbred Athlon XP 2400+ and 2600+.
Here's what the README file has to say:

-----------------------------------------
CheepoBios 1.07 beta for K7S5A
Based on ECS 021001
chb1001.rom lan / non-lan Version
chb1001f.rom lan / non-lan Version with fastwrites enabled
Release notes:
- Adjust timing for stability and compatibility
- Onboard lan Auto Detection newly introduced by ECS doesn't seem to work properly and may prevent non-lan boards from working. I have fixed that by disabling onboard lan by default. Just enable it if needed
- FSB modes reprogrammed:
"100/100 MHz" changed from 99.6 to 100.9 MHz
"133/133 MHz" changed from 132.77 to 133.9 MHz
"100/133 MHz" changed from 99.6/132.77 to 100.9/133.9
No more underclocking by default!
- Several FSB modes added. New list of available modes:
100/100 MHz
100/133 MHz
133/133 MHz -> Default modes
H/W Trap (hardware default)
112/112 MHz
124/124 MHz
138/138 MHz (reprogrammed from 137.3 to 138.0)
150/150 MHz
166/166 MHz -> Already present in the "OC" bios
110/110 MHz
133/100 MHz (Now 133.9/100.9)
143/143 MHz
147/147 MHz
133/166 MHz
160/120 MHz
200/200 MHz
Please note that the "166 MHz no-boot issue" hasn't been dealt with
in this bios modification. It seems that bios timings need to be adjusted to allow
booting at such speed. This issue could also affect 160/120 and 200/200
settings.
- Extra memory settings:
- RAS Precharge Time=2T
- RAS Active Time=4T, 5T
- Full screen logo can be enabled/disabled via bios menu
- A few hidden bios options have been enabled with amibcp. Please notice that none of these settings have been fixed or reprogrammed at all.
- PCI Latency Timer
- PCI slot #1 to #4 IRQ priority
- IO APIC
Note: there is no need to enable PCI IDE Busmaster anymore, it was already present as an available option in the ecs bios
The default values for these settings, as well as all other settings except onboard lan, remain the same as in the original bios.
I wish to thank Jinxter, tw.p, Bench400 and Beheerder: deblokker mij, fellow bios modders
at www.ocworkbench.com/ecs for their useful ideas, discussion and testing

AFAIK the non-fastwrites version is more stable than the regular one, but if you want to milk every last ounce of performance from your video card, well, why not? You all know what fastwrites can do anyway, as well as its tradeoffs, so I'm not going to bother explaining it here anymore.
Also, it has a nice new logo screen.
Check it out!
But if you want to turn it off for diagnostic purposes, or you just miss the POST screen, just press the tab key to turn it off.

Oh, and if you're looking for a nice fan and temp monitoring freeware proggy, try Speedfan. Not only can you control fan speeds using this util, you can also set FSB clocks, read DIMM info and S.M.A.R.T. monitoring as well.
