I really liked FF7 and think it had the best story besides 10 of course. So I think that Square should make a new game called "Final Fantasy VII: Second Edition" or something and they should make the characters talk and they should make it on PS2 and make the graphics and sound and all that like better than 10. I thhink that the materia system was cool as well but they could enhance it a little. Imaging Cloud and Aeris and all the others with PS2 graphics. That would be awesome.

Well, basically what I am saying that they should get FF7 and all the characters and story, remake it with better graphics, sound, battle and speach for PS2 that would be making a dream come true.

I don't think so. Yeah, FF7 is a great game (second best for me. The best is FF8), but what makes a game great isn't graphics n' sounds. Most ppl played FF7 at least once (I played it 19 times). A remake is just the same game. Better graphics and sounds will not change a thing. Look at FF5 and FF6! They have sucky graphics, but manny ppl still play them.

Of course it would make a difference. They can sometimes be everything! And FF8 is the shittest lol. But most people don't play games 19 times. Lol. And maybe they could add site quests and stuff.

Why for the PS2???? It would make more sense on GameCube, as the graphics would be better, and the PS2 users can already play FF7 on their PS2 if that's what makes them happy.

Anyway, I don't really see the point in this poll. most people around here are completely sick of Final Fantasy polls as it is. Abotu the game, I suppose it isn't a bad plan, but I also do not see the point. Especially with Square's track record on ports.

I have a PS2 and GameCube. Ps2 is definately better by far and the graphics are almost the same...The GameCube controller isn't as good as the PS2 one and FF7 on GameCube? It just wouldn't make sense.

well the control is all a matter of opinion but as far as graphics you are ****ing wrong. Ps2 can't do near the shit the gc can do because it is older and less powerfull. I personally don't think a remake is in order mabye one of the older ffs like ff4 5 or 6. And if square were to do make a remake they would probily **** it up.

I answer it to tell you there are too many. The red stars meen I'm a moderator. Thus I read all the threads to try and keep things under control.
I'm gonna close this, but here are myy fian lthoughts:

Squaresoft was going to make an FF7 remake, but ran short of funds. It's not on the cards, an it's unlikely that any amount of petitioning will change that.

Yes it would be nice, but it's pie in the sky.

Futhermore, Square's reputation n remakes isn't particularly good.
