Sega ALWAYS make good games. they can kick everyones @ss if they didnt kill their gamepads/consoles early

yes , and thats what bothering me,.....except that sega didnt actually kill its dreamcast, it was sony,...........

Sega's Dreamcast gorgous graphics and huge abilites were demolished by Sony's successful method of advertisment. Later on, despite releasing Amazing RPGs such as RE code veronica or Shenmue, sega was losing its dreamcast vs playstation war ( it was dreamcast vs PS2 at the very end) and so sega decided to end its support for dreamcast to avoid more losses........:(

I dont get your point exactly exo,...what do you mean? If you are making fun of RE code veronica and Shenmue, then you either have poor background in RPG games or you 're either messing around, and i hope you are not doing that

well, he looked like as if he's making fun out of me, otherwise, i repect others opinions

RE is a Survival Horror. Shenmue is an Action/ Adventure. That's the point Exo is making. They are as much RPGs as Street Fighter and Mario 64.

yes, thats true, but many people refer to them as RPG since they contain that element,.................

That's braodening the genre just a little too much IMO. It's like Zelda isn't an RPG, it's an Action adventure.
Vagrant Story is an Action/RPG. FF is an RPG. Secret of Mana is a Action RPG. Resident Evil is a Survival Horror, not an RPG. Shenmue is an Action/Adventure not an RPG.

okay,.....whatever you say , Lord Kane, ( i dont mind the genre of the game, i mind the game itself) Back to the topic: Those two were examples of the dreamcast best games, and yet, sony was able to kill that "lovely" console ( adds up to the many reasons why i hate sony )

Yes there were a couple of good games on the DC, but it couldn't compete with the lineup on the PSX and PS2. Yes there were a few gems: Crazy Taxi (now ported to every system), Sonic Adventure 2 (now ported to the GC), Soul Calibur (The sequel now coming to GC/PS2), and aparently Shenmue was quite good, although I didn't like it.

If Sony hadn't killed it, Nintendo and the GC would have.

no,...If dreamcast survived 2 years more, sega might release another version of its dreamcast if it sees that it was successful

Doubtful. Even Sega diehards were put off by Sega's poor treatment of the Saturn owners by discontinuing support of it so early, much like the demise of the DC.

Yes , as i said before the problem with sega is that they are KILLING THEIR CONSOLES!!!! argh!! and not to mention that their adverstisment prosedure sucks!!,.........i really like sega's consoles, but i am just trying to know why are they "killing" themselves with their own hands???

That's why Sega isn't the greatest games manufacturer. It was not Sony that killed the DC. It was Sega itself.

Not every Sega game was incredible it's just that the good ones have got lodged in your head, and you forgot the poor ones.

Sega killed itself? yes,...but with the help of sony ofcourse. Almost all sega games are good,......they are nt like the psx,...most of sega's work is neat , and thats why i like them
