Parasite Eve 2 actin' crazy

hey guys,

before you insult me or say anything bad, just take 5 mins to read my thread. I know this the not first time people ask about this this game, but i really tried every configuration i got , but still same problem.

See, the game runs well with no glitchs or nothing until i reach a part ( Dryfield desert) where i have to defeat a flame throwing monster. after defeating him, a movie with alot of glitchs and errors will be shown, THEN, the screen freezes , whatever i try to do, it just wont work!

note that i am using epsxe v1.5.2 , Petes Open Gu plugin v1.5 , null's sound plugin and ATPS cd plugin. and yes, i use pec cheater when i play ths game , but i dont now if this has anything to do with it!

and yes, another not, i am running an AMD athlon XP 1800+ , 256 RAM, G-Force 2 64MB 3D card computer

I got the same problem when playing Chrono Cross. My CD was badly scratched.
While the game freeze, press esc and check what the ePSXe MS-DOS window says.
Check your CD and if it is badly scratched, I suggest you try to make an ISO.

A little known trick about PE2. The first and second disk have an overlap. You can use disk two from just before the flamethrower monster. Try switching disks and see if you can get further.
