I got the beep, which took me like a week of trying to get it. So it is "As if" it was working, but inside the game, the controlls arent being recognized by the game. Which i think is strange. I dont think it has to do with the anti tamper, but more with the game working "around" x360ce to map my controlls, which is doing in a poor way :S
If anyone has any other ideas, id be glad to try them, im really out of them.

The beep does not imply hooking is successful, only that the file has been loaded.

i did it and it worked for me, i'm playing with a ps2 controller. It works well, the only problem is the D-pad isn't working. you need to turn off the analog to use the D-pad.

Update to latest GDB from google code,
64bit version only
dll must be named xinput9_1_0.dll
or use test version of x360ce

Yes, or simply open GBD with notepad and add this:
[DragonAgeInquisition.exe]
Name = Dragon Age: Inquisition
HookMask = 0x00000002
Then open x360ce.ini and add this
[InputHook]
HookMode=1
HookCOM=1
Then, as Squall said, just rename the dll to xinput9_1_0.dll and it should be working.
I did this myself and is working great.

adding things to x360ce ini are not required, you override ini with gdb.

Here and reddit are instructions to get DA:I to work with what I believe is older versions of x360ce. Any way to get it to work with the new one? 3.2.8.76. I have tested a lot of things and I really don't want to trial and error every possible setting, since the combination would probably be in the hundreds and da:i takes 20+ secs to start up even on an ssd.
