I have, but
Have you read the guides and tutorials?
I do not understand it... it doesn't recognize my controller...
What really sucks is that rather than help people either ignore the post or ask "Have you read the guides and tutorials?" No... I just went in and brute force my way -_- seriously... I never ask for help unless I really don't know what else to do...

We have to make sure people have at least tried reading the material already written here, since many don't, and you didn't say you had. It's good that you didn't write here until you gave it a shot.

I don't have that particular game, but I might be able to help. I'm gonna start at the beginning and describe each step.

1. Normally I'd ask you to download the latest app and dll from https://github.com/x360ce/x360ce, but I think the wrong files were uploaded, so download the attachment and save it to the Deus Ex game folder. (Attachment contains app version 3.0.7.57 and dll 3.4.1.1346, both 32 bit.) Open x360ce.exe and answer Yes/Next/Finish to all dialogs. When the main screen appears, you should be able to control the gamepad on the screen, at least somewhat.

How are things so far?

it says that an ini file for the game x360ce was not found, the required file is required for emulation to work properly.

I went into the program, but the controller is greyed out...

Are you absolutely sure Windows is detecting your gamepad? To test it in Windows 7, go to Control Panel > Hardware & Sound > Devices & Printers. Your gamepad should appear here. Right-click it and click Game Controller Settings. Your gamepad should appear there as well. If it does, double-click it, and make sure all the buttons and thumbsticks work.

Also, what brand and model is your gamepad?

My gamepad is a generic controller "Halion" and yeah, it does detect it.... also just tested it using the Deivce and priter thing, and it works, also I played Arkham origin's with it and it works... but not so on Deus... the program when I run it, is just the xbox controller greyed out

I've never had issues getting x360ce to see my controllers, but some have. Don't know if you've read this yet, but here's a thread from someone who also had this issue:

http://ngemu.com/threads/controller-greyed-out.157114/

Can you assign your axes and buttons on that screen? One of the suggestions in that thread is to assign the 2 thumbsticks, the d-pad, and the triggers, and it might turn green after that.

You should also check that "USB Vibration Joystick" tab under "Controller 1". On that screen you can see if x360ce is receiving any input at all and it can help determine what your gamepad axes and buttons are. (I don't think it's really a standard thing, my gamepad's axes make no sense at all...)

Hi there,

firstly is Deus EX human a 64 bit game? if not you should only use 32bit x360ce. It's doesn't refer to your OS system type only to the game system type.

If Deus EX human is 64bit then :

You need to use 32 bit x360ce to set your controller up not x360ce_64, then copy the ini file you made with 32bit app with the x64 .dll that you create with x360ce_64 to the games folder that contains the games .exe file.

So it's responding in x360ce? You might just have to choose the right setting for the right stick. Do all the buttons work in x360ce?

You'll have to rename xinput1_3.dll to xinput9_1_0.dll before running Deus Ex and 32 bit version should be fine (unless the DC is different than the original with it's input...)

there is no xinput1_3.dll there is _1, _2 and then _4
