Pic not showing for me...

Nope in my case at least it tells me if in a thread i posted that there have been any new posts for instance yours appeared as an alert.
Oh, I guess it can be changed then...

thinking of getting back into anime, thinking.
I agree with ozzie, time for thinking has passed...just do it.

I'm looking for a good anime without supernatural stuff, moe-crap, waifu harem high school stuff or being wtf.

So, a daily life anime with good writing and characters without the fanservice, any ideas?

This shows come to mind:

Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru
Seirei no Moribito
Aishiteruze Baby
Area 88
Black Lagoon
Btooom!
Gosick
Great Teacher Onizuka
Guin Saga
Initial D
Itazura na Kiss
Jormungand
Kurenai
Ookami to Koushinryou (despite one single fantastic element this one is right up your desired alley you'll have to watch it to understand what i mean)
Rec
Sukitte Ii na yo
Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun
Usagi Drop

Damn, all the ones I can think of have already been mentioned... I guess Seitokai Yakuindomo is barely within your definitions, personally I find it being one of the funniest series I know. I'd also suggest Joshiraku but I think that one is out...it's the one in my avatar/sig.

Oh right, Aria! Although you might've seen it already, it's a bit older. It does have some minor supernatural themes from time to time and I think some might classify it as "moe" but I don't think so... It has a plot, purpose and a freaking ending!

Oh yeah forgot one Oretachi ni tsubasa wa nai when you will start watching it first you'll probably think "fu** you Strike WTF this isn't what i asked for..." but halfway through you will change your opinion and understand why i recommended it and how it fits in not to mention i'm pretty sure you'll love it as well.

Okay, I think I've asked this earlier but anyone else notice how many anime series are now only 10 episodes long? NouCome and Kyousougiga being the most recent ones. I just don't find very much sense in it, it creates empty weeks to the year. That is unless they plan on making more new series each year, additional "season" if you will. Which I don't think is a good idea considering most of the series each year are pretty forgettable already...

Oh right, Strike go watch NouCome as it ended just last week. It was pretty fun and extremely stupid, but I believe you might like it.
