Ok i can get everything to work and game really works fine except one thing.

Spells like Delay and Haste freeze the game.I tried messing with the settings yet I can't figure what the heck is wrong.

I used search and some guy opened same thread in 2008 but he got no answer

Maybe it just doesn't work well with ePSXe? I assume you've tried the usual versions already, in case there's a change in compatibility. That would be 1.5.2, 1.6.0, 1.7.0, 1.8.0.

Well I tried 1.70 and 1.80.It seems to happen only in this game.I can't remember any similar situation with any game I played before

This game works almost perfectly on EPSXE 1.8.0 (I'm sure, I've played this game 15+ times).

Give us more information though: are you using the CD or an ISO image? What is your config? What plugins are you using? What BIOS file are you using?

Iso image.I tried every config possible for every plugin.

star ocean is rather sensitive to .ISO containers specifically

Oh well I will play trough it without using those spells .Well i prefer Iso files because playing from cd-s tend to get laggy.I tried running my Ps2 games that I am able to somewhat play on my Ps2 and both my Pc or LapTop can barely read it.

Then instead of ISO use a different (better) format, like BIN/CUE or CDD/IMG.
