Since quite a while we do not use our traditional Desktop here anymore but instead my own universe which is increasing in Features day by day for my personal use. Everything self-made obviously except for the Wallpaper

0_o that desktop is way too busy strike. It's impossible to run anything windowed on there.

It's distracting and pulls you away from whatever is in the window. That shot with the fighter shows that perfectly. I have far less busy backgrounds and I still find them distracting when running something windowed (especially a game or a vid).

my setup. still tweaking with it. im sill working on my desktop theme and tweaking it. if you guys any suggestions, i don't mind hearing it at all. if you guys know a wallpaper which will go better with my theme and make it not look like a mac OS, please tell.

Mac OS X uses that wallpaper (which my theme is based on). ubuntu also uses Purple. plus purple is a clam colour. its not like its pink or anything.

Since i'm here might as well post, found an artist whom i partially like (partially cause with some work he can take things to far) NSFW:

im a happy ubuntu user, and im not planning to change anytime soon. IM really happy, been using it since 2008.

plus im on the long term support(12.04), which is more stable than most linux OSes plus it is going to get support for 5 years.

plus mint and ubuntu is almost the same thing.

I meant its the same by, in that it uses most of the same backend and stuff, yeah the front end is very different but, Linux is so customisable that you can get made to look like how you want.

It's just that the legs for instance are pretty much all white which to me doesn't quite fit the theme even if the white is meant to be dominant.
