I was experimenting different methods,versions,plugins and settings and found out that pcsx2 runs any game fast on sandboxie.sandboxie isolates a part of the hard disk for an application and was originally made to test stuff for viruses but since it reserves space the pcsx2 runs fast.i tried out burnout revenge and it came at 5-10 fps but after using sandboxie it went to 45 fps! Tell me if it works for u.

check out this link to sandboxie to find out more for yourselves.Sandboxie - Sandbox software for application isolation and secure Web browsing it makes pcsx2 fast coz instead of battling for space,ram etc on a computer since it reserves space no other applications usage will mess with it. plus another tip is to got to task manager and in the processes tab keep the application in sandboxie at real time priority so that should give it a boost.and plus it aint covert spam Mr masta.g.86. just try it out.and i can tells ya his specs are cool but one spec is bad and that is that he has only 2 ghz.

looks like ill have to get a ps2 these days, lot of games i want to play and i cant because my laptop isnt so good for this emulator, an Intel Duo processor is not enought to run this thing...

Come on kiddies, we're all smart enough to know pcsx2 can run on dvd drive access times as fast as a ps2. This is blatant spam.

it can be run from a dvd drive but it wont be too fast and it'll make a lot of noise if ya want it fast and plus cangri1788 yer stats are enough to play pcsx2.i have one physical processor and four logical processors and have 2.13 gigahertz and it plays all games at 65+fps using pcsx2 maetel 2.6. and for games that run slow even then i use sand boxie and it works great! ps2's are made for the purpose of playing so it reads well but you would need a really good dvd drive to play it like a ps2 without noise.the sort that come with high performance computers such as the dell alien ware mx11.
