My PSP will be 2 years old this July and my AC adapter that came with the system works fine! I've used it ~ 2 times a week to recharge my PSP.

I'm just waiting for having to replace the battery, at least I don't have a PSP Go (away) and I can replace my battery myself! ;)

you can easily replace a psp go battery yourself

Dude. I hope you have a USB to AC cable on hand. Those AC adapters don't last for 6 months.

I had replaced 2 AC adapters already before giving up. Now I am using a USB to AC cable hooked up on my computer.
Never had an issue here. Only thing that lasted only a short time was the remote control the earphones plug into.

I still have the original charger that I received with my PSP in November 2005

PSP, nice I should get back to playing mine sometime, just been too busy. Ooh and if you are looking to replace your phone I think you should check out the Huawei Ideos X5, cheap, powerful and a very versatile phone, its mid to top end for about the 1/3 of an iphone 4, but is just a snappy, lovely phone.

Today my old man gave me this for my christmas gift, I keep telling him not to get me things (the year before he bought me a thermos, I gave him a crud load of astronomy books) and he's been feeling guilty so he splurged a bit too much.

Oooh, boxes.

Ooh, slopey sides

This thing is very comfortable, it is reported to weigh about 700 grams, which is apparently heavy for a thing like this, but I think it is pretty darn light. It's charging right now so I can't play with it yet, but first order of business will be to check for updates. The best thing about this tablet's shell is the sloped edges, feels lovely for reading books and the bezel is great for thumbs to hold onto it. Best of all it has usb which is fantastic, nice thickness too.

Charge damn you!

I also bought a StarCraft II Wings of Liberty steelseries game mouse pad today due to it being heavily slashed in price, I kind of feel like I've just paid for Blizzard to advertise on my desk, but as a mouse pad it is huge and very comfortable which is a good thing.

Nice. I've been thinking of getting a tablet PC if anything ever happens to my 4 years-old laptop (also planning to get a PC). As for the phone, I'm planning on getting the Samsung I9003, Galasy SL. That thing is quite cheap, and the Huawei phones are quite new here, so the distribution is limited. Also, the Ideos was just announced recently and there are still no price tag. So yeah, I'll wait and see.

It certainly is, I'm making this post with the tablet right now, its pretty nice and the keyboard is much easier to use than I thought. Browsing emuforums is pretty good, the 1280x800 screen makes it reply readable and quite simple to navigate. Tiny bit of lag when typing but its no big deal, it could be a lot worse.

I snagged a 2GB MP3 player for my girlfriend, with a mini speaker.

I got that particular model, as its one of the few that use batteries.

Charline doesn't have a computer, but I can rip MP3 of her CDs and copy them to her MP3 player and then she can take it with her and enjoy her music.

Plus it was cheap, and if it wears out, it wasn't that expensive.

thats bad buying cheap things for your girlfriend.
however I do like the fact that the player has replaceable batteries. I just hate to carry around a charger.
She liked what I purchased for her.

If she had a computer, I'd buy her a better one.

But as I mentioned this wasn't as much about price but ease of use/recharging.

She doesn't like messing with my computer and changing batteries is easier for her.

Plus this was just a gift, not for her birthday, anniversary, or Christmas.

How big is it?

I bought a mousepad with DotA motive, measuring 40cm by 29cm.
Size matters ;)

I'm still undecided on whether it's better to have built-in rechargable, or just replaceable batteries. I had replaceable rechargable batteries, and that took WAAAY too long to recharge, and didn't hold a very big one.

He doesn't seem like the type of guy who has something and gives little or nothing to his girl, so there's a difference between cheaping out and something literally being cheap in pirce. It's not how much you have. It's what you do with what you have. If his girlfriend isn't after his Gold, so to speak, she won't care. Your girl sounds like a keeper Paratech.

they charge fast because the charging voltage is much higher than the voltage of the battery.
in regular chargers the voltage is just a bit higher than the battery voltage.

Finally got some new iron.

Hopefully this will last longer than a week.

Btw, I don't know where they got the masterpiece bit from. If that's true, then Modern Warfare 2 must be godly? I am pretty sure it's the most returned game in history. They both are pretty horrible.
