I have had this sig for over a year without a single issue and this is one of the first things I am confronted with on my b'day of all days.

****ing ban me for all I care.

Changed my sig (LOLNO)....
Wait, Avatar it was!

Feet it was more representing of my mood nowadays, I feel like such a girly girl :D

I also noticed that the avatar scales down (original picture is 600x1068, 113KB), why not have the signature do that as well?
Also, DS, I didn't single you guys out, if that's what you're thinking. Those were the 3 first sigs I came over.

While this would be desirable (among other automated measures, including to curb sig linkdrop spam), externally hotlinked pictures dont get resized. Only ones uploaded to ngemu's server (limits for uploads has always been lower than the general limits allowed if hosting elsewhere).

On an aside, GD resizing large pictures produces lower quality resized pictures (with higher compression ratio) compared to directly resizing them before uploading.

Great work guys, found myself coming back to these forums after a couple of years afk :)
Wow, I never expected to see you around here again :p. Welcome back!

Now for some on-topic stuff to balance out my off-topicness, I've decided to change my avatar for the first time since 2004 or something around there. This one reflects one of my newer hobbies, amateur radio. Here's a larger version of it.

I believe that might have extended down to supermods at one point, if not regular moderators. I don't think it was ever that high in resolution/size, maybe 125x125 or 100x100 back when regular members were limited below that. Then again, the last time I looked up the differences was 4+ years ago.

Nope, regular sizes here (100x100,50kb). Maybe it was only select admins then (like kirby/elly/yelo) and temporarily.
Not all groups had theirs bumped up when there was a global increase 3 years ago (coders remained on about 80x80 when 100x100 was standardized upon for members, till this was reported).

Oh so i see now, some people who have no moderation have decided to be jack a... and ruin it for all just cause their brain wasn'at able to comprehend that the overly exagerated dimensions where the actual problem .... well a new challenger enters my ignore list i don't need to read the posts of a kindergarten...

PS: i'm with DS on this one.
