Play as Solid Snake in Castlevania: Lords of Shadow | Just Push StartMon, Oct 4, 2010
With the release of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow this week, a secret character will be playable after meeting certain conditions within the game.
Following the end of the game, fans of Solid Snake will be happy to know he will be playable. Simply go to the Extras menu and you will be able to play as Solid Snake instead of Gabriel Belmont. You can choose whether Snake can wear a bandana or not.
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow will be available in North America on both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on October 4, 2010. Check back with us later this week for our exclusive coverage of the game.
I can post screenshots of the 360 or PS3 version anytime(they are not different in my eyes tho.) but sadly i do not have unlocked snake yet because am not using cheats and also because am not a gamer so i dedicate a very small portion of my time to play games. actually i play about 30 minutes a week or so.anyway @ruantec, can you upload some screens or vids with snake (if you unlocked him)
Even the slim arcade? oOonly, you don't have to open up a 360 Arcade to add an official harddrive![]()
yes we get it, you have multiple Xboxes and PSs we only barely have one of each :???:I can post screenshots of the 360 or PS3 version anytime(they are not different in my eyes tho.) but sadly i do not have unlocked snake yet because am not using cheats and also because am not a gamer so i dedicate a very small portion of my time to play games. actually i play about 30 minutes a week or so.
actually I meant the non-slims.. you can plug 'em in/switch em at the top of the console. dunno how the slims fare. And what about the non slim systems?
one could design a system or add-on to work that way. Doesn't the Sega-32X kind of do this... hardware extensions can be made in all kinds of ways, one just needs a way to plug 'em in without having to break the "warranty void if removed" seal.Still I can't imagine how you could change a video card without opening the system?
Even the slim arcade? oO
And what about the non slim systems?
I can't imagine wanting to change the 250 GB in the 250 GB slim...
Still I can't imagine how you could change a video card without opening the system?
I don't see them designing a video card like they did on the N64 again? oO
Still thanks for the heads up.

kidding of course , what is the requirement to unlock snake anyway ?? finish on Ultra hard or something ?
Although we’ve updated our original article from this morning, we figured that due to the overwhelming controversy surrounding this news, that clarification deserved its own post.
This morning we published a news piece about Solid Snake being playable in Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. However, the game’s producer, David Cox quickly debunked it via the game’s official Twitter account, citing that Solid Snake was not playable in the game.
Despite that being true, it seems that you’ll still get some Metal Gear Solid threads to outfit Castlevania: LOS protagonist, Gabriel Belmont.
According to an image sent in from a PSLS reader (below), a “Solid Snake” custom outfit will be available for Gabriel Belmont after the you have finished the game at least one time. The outfit, which also features Solid Snake’s bandana, is accessible via the Extras menu after you’ve completed the game once.
So it seems as though Solid Snake is in Castlevania: LOS in spirit, but it’s still just Gabriel Belmont donning some Solid Snake gear. Now that this has been cleared up, all that’s left to wonder is if the Bandana gives Gabriel infinity daggers.
The only reason that would never happen is devs don't want to have to worry about what hardware you have in your console, they design a game for a console and that's that. They don't want people to start worrying about the hardware in their console being up to date enough to play a certain game, one reason a lot of people don't game on their PC's as much anymore.I obviously meant that they should of included the ability to upgrade the GPU in the consoles design, herp derp.
This is the 21st century, games are scalable so there wouldn't be a reason to force someone to upgrade.
Although I expected the entire sneak outfit this is still pretty cool
