You doubt the truth, there's a reason they have seals on consoles, even some PCs. You break the seal, you void your warranty. Why do you think they have them on systems?

Again, it doesn't matter why you tampered with a system, but do it and you lose the warranty. This has been true since PCs/Consoles have been out.

anyway @ruantec, can you upload some screens or vids with snake (if you unlocked him)
I can post screenshots of the 360 or PS3 version anytime(they are not different in my eyes tho.) but sadly i do not have unlocked snake yet because am not using cheats and also because am not a gamer so i dedicate a very small portion of my time to play games. actually i play about 30 minutes a week or so.

only, you don't have to open up a 360 Arcade to add an official harddrive ;)
Even the slim arcade? oO

And what about the non slim systems?

I can't imagine wanting to change the 250 GB in the 250 GB slim...

Still I can't imagine how you could change a video card without opening the system?

I don't see them designing a video card like they did on the N64 again? oO

Still thanks for the heads up.

yes we get it, you have multiple Xboxes and PSs we only barely have one of each :???:

kidding of course , what is the requirement to unlock snake anyway ?? finish on Ultra hard or something ?

actually I meant the non-slims.. you can plug 'em in/switch em at the top of the console. dunno how the slims fare.

one could design a system or add-on to work that way. Doesn't the Sega-32X kind of do this... hardware extensions can be made in all kinds of ways, one just needs a way to plug 'em in without having to break the "warranty void if removed" seal.

Just get yourself a slim 250GB...

I was talking in the context of a new system having an upgradeable video card.

Although we’ve updated our original article from this morning, we figured that due to the overwhelming controversy surrounding this news, that clarification deserved its own post.

This morning we published a news piece about Solid Snake being playable in Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. However, the game’s producer, David Cox quickly debunked it via the game’s official Twitter account, citing that Solid Snake was not playable in the game.

Despite that being true, it seems that you’ll still get some Metal Gear Solid threads to outfit Castlevania: LOS protagonist, Gabriel Belmont.

According to an image sent in from a PSLS reader (below), a “Solid Snake” custom outfit will be available for Gabriel Belmont after the you have finished the game at least one time. The outfit, which also features Solid Snake’s bandana, is accessible via the Extras menu after you’ve completed the game once.

So it seems as though Solid Snake is in Castlevania: LOS in spirit, but it’s still just Gabriel Belmont donning some Solid Snake gear. Now that this has been cleared up, all that’s left to wonder is if the Bandana gives Gabriel infinity daggers.

I hope no one here bought this game solely for Snake in the "flesh". My apologies if anyone did, cause I linked the thing here.

@ Paratech.Xblade simply wanted to say that if it was normal having your system upgraded over time officially from the manufacturer like it's normal now not to do such practice then they'll renew your warranty again or just change the rules for their product in particular just to fit a state like this.

What's really confusing here is what are they going to do if I bought X360 2008 and now when I give and PAY the new gpu to get mounted in 2010.What happens? renew my warrancy?? for what? there's 2 yr old system with a brand new gpu.it's messed up since the gpu is newer and the only way I see it being the system separatedly splitted for warranties which will be again as the PC even closer...the idea of the gaming console is just one step away to be the same as the PC.

To put it in a simple way.. That won't happen. Unless the gpu is attached through an external slot. Then you'll get the warranty for the new gpu alone.

I obviously meant that they should of included the ability to upgrade the GPU in the consoles design, herp derp.

This is the 21st century, games are scalable so there wouldn't be a reason to force someone to upgrade.
The only reason that would never happen is devs don't want to have to worry about what hardware you have in your console, they design a game for a console and that's that. They don't want people to start worrying about the hardware in their console being up to date enough to play a certain game, one reason a lot of people don't game on their PC's as much anymore.

That too. Anyway, the snake outfit is a simple eye patch and bandanna.
Here's a video uploaded through an Android phone (bad quality):

wow that looks retarded... they couldnt even do a simple thing like that correctly. >.>

I don't know what you were expecting, since the original news about playing as Snake was wrong.
Maybe a lolipop to go together with the bandanna and the eye patch ? Don't answer, I know. Snake's war suit.

I was expecting that too, to be honest. ;) It isn't there though ! :D

Yeah. The game is screwed now. Poor Konami.
Thinking twice... Kratos looks ridiculous in the fish outfit. Guess most people just don't care about it.

The worse thing is this though:
Although I expected the entire sneak outfit this is still pretty cool

That's exactly what I think. I was being sarcastic in my previous post.
It never works on the internet :D
