I'm running Windows XP SP2, No$GBA 2.6a and No$Zoomer 2.3.0.2. Today, I ran No$Zoomer and it worked without problems. Then I started No$GBA on its own to test something (without altering any options), and after restarting No$Zoomer, it only showed a light blue upper and a fully black lower screen while playing the BGM of the opened game.
After testing it with several games with the same result, and deleting No$Zoomer.ini, now it doesn't start at all.
I re-DL-ed No$Zoomer from the stickied thread, deleted any and all related files, but it still won't even start up.
I tried DL-ing a fresh No$GBA 2.6, but it doesn't load up with that one, either.
I have not installed anything today, so I'm pretty much clueless.
No$GBA 2.6a works on its own, BTW.
Could someone post a working No$Zoomer.ini? Maybe that'll fix it.

Thanks, still doesn't work, though. Now I really don't have a clue.
EDIT: I just remembered I have a backup of my No$Zoomer files, but it'll take at least til tomorrow to get those. I'll keep things updated.

Have you try restarting your computer? Also, you can try moving your no$gba.exe to a new folder that is closer to your root directory, then extract all the files from no$zoomer to the new folder.

I forgot to mention that: I did try restarting the PC.
I tried opening No$Zoomer with a fresh No$GBA (2.6), with just the .exe and the No$Zoomer files in the root directory, to no avail. Also, the directory was never a problem before and I have not installed or moved anything today.
UPDATE: No$Zoomer 2.3.0.1 doesn't work either, while NGZoom does. Could someone tech-savvy enough tell me if No$Zoomer needs some 3rd party software, like Java or .NET or something?

I'm running Windows XP SP2...
Sorry Smilley, but running XP with SP2 still, after that long time SP3 and later patches are out, I simply assume you are using an illegal version of XP with blacklisted serial-key where SP3 simply will not install.
You know the drill... no support can be given. :D
(when the boomerang hits back )

Completely unrelated to the original poster, so who cares if he/she is running SP2 or Windows 98 for that matter? Your assumptions are irrelevant.

@Smiley: Seems to me that it may be something related to the OS, you installed something new, messed around with the config? If you have a previous restore point, try that.

@BinarySlave: I simply believe that SP3 is a piece of junk and have deliberately not installed it. I also still use IE6 because I detest tabs, even though every other page now tells me my browser's outdated.
@Crimson Ghost: I'm afraid you're right, though I definitely did not install anything. I have an old 60GB HD, so I simply don't have the space for a restore point. Aw, I reinstalled Windows twice already this month. Please, Bill Gates, don't do this to me...

SP3 is not junk, it increases performance in the OS itself when installed properly (Clean install or slipstreamed repair install).

as for Ie6... well you deserve having sites appear incorrect.

For me, SP3 just meant less space on my system partition, programs I neither need nor care about, while solving no issues the way SP2 did.
As for IE6, yes I guess I'm backward and stubborn with that; I don't like to be patronized by a program. I have Firefox in case a website REALLY calls for it, but 'til then I'm satisfied with what has worked for years.
As for my problem, it turned out it was a graphics driver issue. It has been acting erratic lately, leading to the latter of the two system reinstalls I mentioned above. I hope it's not a hardware failure...
Reinstalling the current driver did nothing, but reverting to an older version I had lying around fixed the issue. Now on to reset my hotkeys...
