No games work, but Run BIOS does

I just intalled this today, have read through the FAQ and looked through youtube for some solutions but cant find anything. I have installed ePSXe, with all of he plug-ins, and this is where my problem begins or lies. I use
File->Run BIOS, and it shows me the old PS load screen and goes to the CD player display, however at this screen I cannot use the keyboard as my controller, I have tried hitting f5 but nothing works. I than try to load several different games directly from the CD but none of them work, I have tried Suikoden, FFT, FF7, Star Ocean but none of them work they load to a black screen with an image of the controller on the top right.

Sorry if this has been asked a hundred times, I have tried everything in the FAQ and what else I could find via google but nothing seems to work so this is a last resort, thanks in advance to anyone who can help

have you setup all youre plugins?

Sound:
Config>ePSXe SPU Core 1.70 Sound enable
Video:
for the begining set
Config>Video>Peops SoftDriver 1.18 > default Settig FastFast + Windowmode=on (there can noting go wrong)
later you can refine some Setings (this are "runalwayssettings" to see that no other Things Wrong)

Game PAD: (using for Keyport)
config>GamePAD>port1>Pad 1> Upper Right corner> Digital >> Lower Right corner>Default>>OK
ready to Start

what are you using? --CD or Image
If you have Images use File>RunISO>choose youre Imagefile>OK.
...else Confg>CDRom>ePSXe CDR WinNT/2K>Contigure>youre CD-Driveletter
Put the CD in youre Drive and File>Run CDROM

none of those games require ppf patches.

enable the console / logger window and screenshot it when the black screen happens.

the log has your answer. the disk is not being read / bad image / drive can't read psx disks. etc.

Haha I see, I am incredibly dumb! Put it into Drive G and the game now runs :D

Question about pixelization though, what can help clean it up? Im running it at 1680x1050 could that be the problem?

Or is that just the way playstation was? I honestly cant remember the game is suikoden

PSX games were very low res, on a SD tv (also low res) it wasn't so easily noticed.

Ahh gotcha, thanks for all your help. It working is better than nothing eh?

Ive lowered the resolution to the minimum and will prolly be playing in windowed mode instead of fullscreen as that should help Im guessing.

this works whithout Pixelisation ?maybe?
Some Games (FF7,DragonQuest) are making colored Borders around Backroundtextures. then its better to play with Peops Softplugin HQx Streched or Ogl2 2.09 (look in this Forum for setting of Pixelshaders)
