Playing my xbox i took out an old copy of morrowind and popped it in. Hadn't played the xbox version for a good 6 years ago now? Always played the pc after that which changed the game, wasnt as good (besides mods, story got boring cuz of cheats) but it was amazingly wierd, i ended up just playing for like 3 hours pretty much straight.

Anyone have this happen with old games? i know ive done it with shining force, and crash bandicoot and maybe even resident evil a few times.

yeah i remember i got the xbox version. it felt really overwhelming at the time and i sorta played it but got lost :p

yeah, i've had that happen with lots of old games that i havent played in years that i really liked, der langrisser, final fantasy VI, final fantasy VII just to name a few.. the thing is, not playing it for years makes you forget about the game (not all), and replaying it it's like playing the game all over again and kinda refresh your memory about why you really loved the game.. i like that feeling :D

Ha. I has PC version still. The xbox one is just superior to me for some reason. although i dont like the fact it lags occasionaly.

@mako, i sorta got a little lost, even went to a small city/fort i dont remember going too. was wierd.

@bleh, completely true. i had so much fun playin, remember reasons for not liking as well tho :dead: never liked the whole missing system. like 90% of hits dont make contact

haha same. i got the pc version for the heck of it, but it felt really weird. I had the collectors edition on xbox too so it came with expansions.

Pc+hd texture+hdr >3 xbox

I had the xbox version of morrowind before playing the pc version. Quite an awesome game. Though I have to say I felt the PC version is superior in every aspect.

Chronotrigger and FF6 have pulled me back multiple times. As has X-Com ufo defense.

i got into final fantasy from no.6, and then i played 4 then 5.. i still remember when i came back from school, and my bro was all "HEI I GOT FF7!!!", i immediately threw my bag and rush upstairs.. ahh.... good times... :D

Yes, personally FFVI and FFV both have left deep impression on me. And then came Chrono Trigger. Those games, though I played them late are my favorite. In term of storyline, FFVI has the best variation, deep character background, and most memorable music. The reason why I love FFIX so much is because somehow I see it resembles FFVI so much. Though this is debatable :p
