nah, i think the best character should be chrono, and the best music be final fantasy 6... chrono cross had some nice music, including my favourite music theme from any game, but, it only had 2 or 3 good musics that i really liked, as opposed to ff6, which had good music every place you go

I thought Chrono Trigger has superb music too. Chrono isn't a strong main character. I think Cloud's dilemma about his exsistence is good, but I also think Ashley from Vagrant Story is a good character. However, having not completed it, or Xenogears, I couldn't really say

I must not have it at the mo. I have the orchesteral version of Terra's theme (7.57)and The Opera Themes (23.01), but nothing that is 9 min. I'll have to aquire that.

well i never played BG2 but ive layed all others , and the best sword is CRISSAEGRIM , beatiful , powerful and fast :) (castlevania SOTN) prove me wrong

Try imagining a sword that stops play every 30 seconds to say someting really stupid.

have you even every gotten the Rune Sword?

here Ill post as pick of that one, its much better than crissagrim.


and yeas, you throw it out lik that everytime you attack, and you can run while doing so. Adn its stronget than the crissagrim.

Best char - Squall ? Oh, nooo... Most dumb char i ever seen before.
Chrono - maybe. Or Zidane - cheerfull persone.
Best weapon Conformer , i think.
Agree about Earthbound.
Female - Kid.
Music - Breath of fire 4 - final boss(Emperor) & PukaPuka.

yep, earthbound was a good one, oh no! its a yesman 2 and his buddy the disgruntled grampa ;)

Haha, I'm sure the debates here will never end. I definitely agree with the FF6 music and ending awards... I actually have an mp3 of the end that has the music for the whole thing, it runs straight for 21 and a half minutes... It includes the character endings, airship part and credits. Anyway, as for Chrono for best main character... he was definitely cool (and probably the strongest relatively of main characters - I like beating lavos singlehandedly with chrono in new game +) but I can't really give best main character to someone who has no lines throughout the entire game. I'm tossed up between Cloud and Fei... it's a tough choice... As for the swords from castlevania... the rune blade is a fun weapon, but the crissaegrim is MUCH more powerful, you can continually do it while walking, and even though its attack power is lower, it hits like a million times. Of course, with the Alucard shield and the shield rod, no weapons are required at all! If you use the shield rod spell with the Alucard shield, it turns the alucard shield into a weapon that hits quickly and continuously as long as the shield is drawn, and each hit takes off over 200 hp in addition to healing 8 hp per hit... Way too powerful... you can beat any boss in about 5 seconds using this method.

I remember Lilarcur, that was a funny sword.
also, can't forget the Dragon Sword from the 2 Suikodens.
