hmm, i have one fan blowing air into my box (at the front-bottom), the PSU one blowing air out and only 3 more: CPU, north bridge & graphic card.
These clips exerce way too much preassure for me to take them with my bare fingers :( so i wont mess with it anymore, ill really have to get the computer to the store and let them install a new cooler, since i dont think im up to the task...

And you should, if you're not sure of yourself. :)

The heatsink fan I got with by boxed Celeron is really nice. My neighbor has a Coolermaster on her Celeron 1.2Ghz and it looks almost exactly the same. My Intel HS/F does a wonderful job keeping mine cool even Oc'd at 1.2Ghz. I have 2 Fans in my case, the CPU fan and of course the PS fan.:)

You should have one blowing air out of the computer, preferrably close to your CPU.

Well in my tower there is a place for a fan at the bottom front of the case. I have a fan in that spot to blow cool air in but I need to wire it in since I pulled it out of an old Power Supply I had. Theres a lot of room in my tower, it's a full tower.

When I opened up the half assed copmuter that was shipped to me I opened it up and almost choked...there isn't much breathing room in there. I took two small heatsink fans and put one in so that it takes air in from under the heatsink and blows it from under and toward the processor and then the other I placed blowing the fresh air at the processor for intake

I let my system run for about three hours (just in the bios, I don't have an operating system in it since I don't have a working cd-rom for it yet :wah ) and the cpu maxed out at 46 degrees c now it was running at 1.2 ghz b/c I only have pc100 ram in it and don't want to oc the ram to 133 just to get it up to xp1900 speed. When I get the right ram in my computer (at least pc133) and get my cpu up to xp1900 speed do you think I will have heat issues? I took off the heatsink to take a peek at the cpu ( mainly to make sure it was the one I was supposed to get)and found they used the crappy silicon contact stuff. Would it be a good idea for me to get that arctic silver 3 stuff and use it? HELP

Yes. Put some Arctic Silver on it.

As for the temperature sensor in ECS boards, they are wildly inaccurate. I use Sisoft Sandra. Like that's accurate too, but hey, at least it's not an error margin of 10 degrees celsius. :heh:

Another thing you can try neo-jag is to remove your ide cables and cut them into 4 pieces sort of like it shows here ,this will improve your aiflow quite a bit :)
Once u cut them in quarters fold the bits onto each other and tape them together to make a thin cable
I've done it myself btw..
