If you max is 1024 Kilo-bytes, then yes. If that is 1024 Kilo-Bits, then no. The greatest speed you'd get would be 128Kb/s

Never heard of that only 10mb/s
10 Base Lan (10 Mega bit) is the same as T1: 1.25Mb/s
100 Base Lan (100 Mega Bit) is at 12.5Mb/s, but I am told that T3 (The internet backbone) is a little faster tahn 100Base

so What's max for me
I don't know what connection you are using. On the T1 I am on, I hardly ever get a single d/l over 200Kb/s, but combined I can get up to 1.25Mb/s

I think something a bit lower than that pc is good enough for games an emulation. Just take a look at my pc

1ghz amd athlon t-bird
128 mb ram
40 gb harddisk
256kb/s
Geforce 2 MX 400

And my pc runs great with games except i need some more ram:(

I'd rather have and AMD Ath XP 2000+, and another 256Mb of RAM, but yeah, it's good.

For now it's great. but well im not sure the current ram is excellent but it would have been better if it was 512ddram
