In other words, use the ingame save. And yes, reading the info is usually wise. Saves from asking questions that could get you flamed for it later. Lots of people on here tired of the same old questions, different day...

Kind of curious... I have the most up-to-date version of no$GBA possible without donating, and I've never ran into these saving problems; in fact, it was working right when I took it out of the archive folder (even Pokemon D/P, which is supposed to have a huge amount of saving trouble if I recall). What did I do that the less-fortunate aren't doing? :|

In-game saves works 100% i haven't had a problem yet i use 2.6 and to be sure it saved i always save reset (don't exit or it wont work) the emulator and then load and it works it's safest that way in my opinion you should try that.

Edit: And you should go to this site http://www.advanscene.com and search the game you play and see what save type you shoud have on NDS Cartridge Backup Media.

Basically, you set Flash 512k as your backup media (based on your statement on Pokémon) and have only played games with that savetype ever since. Lucky you I guess, as EEPROM 64k and Flash 256/512k are pretty evenly distributed savetypes, with the other ones being at a distinct minority.

I saved my game in Pokemon Ranger.
when i tried to play again Pokemon Ranger i had to start from the beginning, the NO$GBA emulator does not save the game its always deleted and i have to start from the beginning
Did you save the setting after you set the correct save type? And once you save the setting, you have to restart the emu. When you start a game, some games will corrupt or delete your save file if you didn't set the correct save type. I suggest you check the FAQ thread here.

Have you selected the right Backup Media Type in the Emulation Setup? I think its Flash 512 but I am not sure.
Um... no? The save type for Pokemon Ranger is Flash 256Kb.

I get the same problem ,so I borrow topic's thetiger to say .
I set save type that can play the game ,but when the game is saved ,I can't load it (i mean The button "Continue" in beginning of game ) .

I choose savetype EErom 64b ,and test EErom 8b,too .neither 64b nor 8b can load game
You guys played the game can help me?
pl look at my att

you can't load probably because there is no data file there, you saved with the wrong save type, so even if you put the right save type the game won't load.

Also, FF3 is a b*tch when it comes to loading savegames. If you even boot up the game with a wrong savetype, your data will be irrevocably corrupted. It may also be worth a note that FF3 doesn't autosave. You have to save manually at specific savepoints or on the World Map. I know it might sound ridiculous, but let's get all possibilities into the picture.
