R does not work

I am using Visualboy Advance 1.8.0 beta 3 on my XP Pro 64-bit version system. When I try to press the button/key I assigned R to, it does nothing. Any help would be appriciated. Also automatic frame skip causes major lag for some reason. I run games in full screen 640x480 with 2x Sai and manual frame skip set to 1.

What is the best version of VBA for me to use?

then the game doesn't have any use for the R button!

then something is not setup correctly, your keyboards/gamepads broke or the rom image is bad.

I don't read these fourms; I just have this thread bookmarked. Anyway, in the link it says the latest version of VBA-M X64 is 347, and that was uploaded last February. Is this the latest version?

well then the rom you have is bad.

There is no problem; it seems that in Megaman Zero default you have to press the R and B buttons together to fire the sub weapon. Thanks anyway, and good luck with VBA-M and other emulator projects you guys are working on.

Ahh, how could i forget that, yes, you can change that in the options subscreen
