how do you turn off the recording feature?

hi,
i am using ePSXe 1.6.0 and i need to know how to stop it from recording when you're playing. my demo folder keeps getting filed up with 15gigs worth of vids and i do not know how to turn it off. i went the the video plugin (P.E.Op.S. Soft Driver 1.16) and under recording options it says i can start/stop the video recording using the 'recording' key (see key configuration)! is key configuration the same as gamepad configuration? cuz i didn't see anything about a recording key in there.

please help as all the videos make my computer slow and i have to delete them every day or so

Key configuration is the next option to Recording options. Press a "..." button to change the start/stop key. Default one is multiply.

From pete's soft plugin documentation:

4) Movie recording (Windows version only)
-----------------------------------------
You can start/stop recording by using the 'recording' hotkey.
A avi file will get created in the \Demo sub-directory.

<NUMPAD *> start/stop avi file recording (Windows version only)

You should check the readme again.

i checked the ePSXe help file and readme but i didn't even think about checking the plugin faq :emb:
so is there anyway to turn it off?

ps my recording button was the space bar
