Hey all, I was just wanted to ask a question, I kinda dug through a few pages, but didn't really find anything, so yeah..

I was wondering what are the ideal system requirements to run no$gba?
These are mine, my computer isn't really that new:
Pentium 4 - 2.80 GHz
768 MB Ram
And i gota a 6800 Nvidia.

I was playing no$gba, i think the older version in my grandparents house (they gota better computer then me,lol) They gota a dual core, and like 2 gb of ram.

So is it Ram that makes the better performance or the graphics cards?

Thanks!

There are no ideal system specs or minimum requirements...but the more you have the better...
Note however that no$gba does not have dualcore support...so they only help by the second core being able to handle all the other background processes giving no$gba pretty much a whole core to itself....

Well....it's fairly obvious....it's kinda hard to code Dual-core support without a dual-core PC.....

I've already said this before, but my laptop has an intel celeron M 1.3GHz processer and 223MB. I run NO$GBA on realtime and I've almost never had my speed go below 100% and almost never had any noticeable frameskipping. I've played games like Pokemon Diamond, Final Fantasy 3, and quite a few others. I've also said that my system seems to play games that have a lot larger Min. Req. than my system specs and I run them on full quality with no problems.

So I think your PC should be fine.

WOW!All of my friends that have about 256 mb of RAM they couldn't play games on no$gba normally.
My specs.are very good on both on laptop and pc laptop is dualcore and it has 1gb of ram,my pc isn't dualcore but it has 1gb of RAM too.

I Run To No$Gba 2.6A in my Dual Core 5000 X2 (2X CPU 2.6Ghz) With 2 Gig Ram Dual Channel 667Mhz With EVGA GFORCE 8800 GTS 640MO

All game run number 1

Cool, thanks for replying guys. I think my main problem is RAM, as my games have a slight yet annoying lag on it, so i guess i gotta start upgrading! :)
Thanks again!

Oh BTW, if there are other versions to no$gba will it be a bit faster? or will the next versions just focus on bugs etc.

We don't know, only Martin does. For now, either stick with the 2.6 version (or 2.6a if you were able to get it before the donations problem) or play it in your own DS if the speed is too slow for you.

before i have the a gforce 8600gt and all game rush lolll now i buy a gforce 8800 gts and all game run more faster.. its normal if your computer rush with all game, my old p4 2.8 ghz with 1 gig ram with ati radeon 256mo can run some game but come game run slowest .. probably wait for new version for best performance
