All comps have a graphics card, so I guess you mean you only have an integrated one which is crap. Well those usually don't work well at all with PCSX2 and might not even have shader model 2.0 support depending on what u have which is required.

what's mean do you haven't a gfx card.
You can use some monitoring program (such as everest) to control what's your video card.
Probably windows don't identificate it because drivers aren't installed!!

Ok i have a 8600gt card i don't want to waste my money buying ps2 dvd if its not going to work. Can someone post its screenshots or just give a review of wwe here comes the pain on pcsx2. I think its less demanding than wwe svr 2008 so it should give full speed i suppose. Mind i don't have wwe svr2008 either.

here's a screenshot for pcsx2 compatibility list

no is ur model older than mine or better. Thats why may be ur getting low speed. But i thnk its newwer core2 extreme isn't it?

@frigeriod thanx for the screenshot. but i've seen that pic on pcsx2.net. i want a screenshot from someone who has used it.

Erm the person who added that screenshot obviously did use it otherwise they wouldn't have been able to make that screenshot...

There is absolutely no chance of running PCSX2 on integrated graphics. Might run ok on AMD's 7xx chipset integrated at low settings... but besides the point. You practically need a dedicated card, and a decent one at that, for pcsx2.

Oh believe me, 30fps on a single core athlon might even be full speed on a core 2 duo, or many other dual cores.

But first... you need a graphics card. A decent one :p

You said you had no graphics card, ie you said you have onboard graphics.

Now all of a sudden you have a 8600GT? Anyway, I'd say it's not enough for pcsx2. But each game has different recommended specs. Try it, it's not as if you've got anything to lose.

8600GT should do fine. PCSX2 is still mostly CPU limited, so if you overclock your E4500 somewhat you should be able to run the game at decent framarate. The main disadvantage of 8600GT is 128bit bus, but that only is a bottleneck on Win native games with AA, higher res. For emulating PS2 games, it should be quite enough (I think). After all it's almost as fast as your X1950PRO in newer games, TD.

There's actually a fairly big difference between my card and a 86GT in most games, even in the newer ones. Usually about 5-15fps.

And side note, if you run GSDx you'll likely have no problems, even with an even weaker card. ZeroGS is too gpu heavy. But if you use GSDx on an E4500, you will probably have to overclock.

But either way, you've got nothing to lose from trying it. So try it ;)

Of course, I suppose he won't be using bilinear filtering and AA. Without those the 8600GT should be fast enough.

Yes, X1950PRO is definitely faster, but the 8600GTS (which is basically an overclocked GT) comes close in lower resolutions. Nonetheless I would also get X1950 over 8600 cards any day :)

In ZGS, without BF and AA, I agree, it will be enough.

But on GSDx with a bit of overclocking (cpu side), he can crank the resolution up by god knows how much. More than ZGS' AA res changes that's for sure.

I have intel core2duo 2.2ghz 2gb ram. I don't have a gfx card. My ques is will wwe here comes the pain work without gfx card?
The GS Plugins can handle newer onboard chips, but for better speed i recommend a decent PCIe Card like a 8800GT.
You can get it so cheap nowadays (ca 150euro), i found a XFX 8800GTX 768MB for 230euro on the german amazon site.
No joke, here is the link: Amazon.de: XFX Geforce 8800 GTX Extreme Grafikkarte PCI-E 768MB DDR3 Ram Retail: Elektronik
I paid 250 for my 8800GT, now i'm pissed...
