I use ePSXe 1.5.2 and the bug is the same with the following version. The problem is mostly noticeable in the intro, the sound bugs so much its as if we were hearing a machine gun while the music plays. It's really strange. I use Eteranl SPU 1.41, and I tried other plugins and the bug was still there, I tried to check the 3 options in the plugin with no results.. know how to solve this?

What is the bug, exactly?

Also, have you tried using a different emulator?

well its hard to explain, and yes I tried different emulators, it's as if there was a repeatitive sound, it's the same bug if I'm running the game from the cd or the iso. You know the sound it makes when a fire is burning? well its the same.

We need a better explanation.

Edit: Just tested it, what sound problems? I hear nothing wrong with it. But I did hear a tambourine in the background, maybe thats your answer.

nah it isn't working, I know what tambourin you're talking about, it's a real bug believe me hehe, anyway I'll borrow my friend's copy in a week cause I tested many things and it really seems to be the game itself.

alright the problem is solved, tried reading the CD from my DVD drive and it worked.. I'm surprised but it's all okay now
