Anyone knows what software to use when I want to increase quality of my music files especially mp3 files so I can make them more clear even with the punishment of large sizes?

you cant polish a turd. thats the old saying, and it applies here.
if you have a low quality mp3, the data that makes the song crisp is gone, the only way you can get clearer, higher quality mp3's is to rerip your cd's/vinyl, or find somewhere selling a higher quality version (unless its public domain of course ;p)

unfortunately with music its not that simple, you cant make sound data reappear. the only way the guy with SoR 3 coulda got higher quality music is if either the music was a chip tune (which i expect it was) and he had mastered and EQ'd it to make it sound crisper.
But with an MP3 you cant do this, as there is only one format its in, and thats a low quality mp3.

You can't add quality, you can only take it away.
The best thing to do is just encode it in the best possible quality right off the bat.
If you're looking to save space, go for Ogg. I can't ABX anything higher than Q3, and that's only ~112kbps.

You probably have to find software that muffles the audio to soften the horrible noise caused by compression. Either that, or run it through an equalizer or another type of audio filter to try to make the mp3 sound somewhat decent, but you'll never get that same original quality back like ref said.

their is a great programm called DFX mp3 will get much more quality withit

Using stuff like that only EQ's it and add reverbs. Just get messes after a while. As said, get the original source and rip....rip is good.

never heard of that, but if it uses the LAME encoder, then i can agree it will give you the best quality. LAME mp3 encoders have been shown to provide the best quality for the size.

Ok now I understand. It seems it is imposible for that to make too bad.
Lancer's tweak of AoTuV is the best IMOI prefer Auyumi's AoTuv Ogg Vorbis fork, I think its now integrated in the main Xiph.org SVN code tree atm
With my 2500+, I get like 8-12x in the normal AoTuV Oggdrop. Using Lancer's, I get 16-25x
