I'm sick of being stuck with playing FFXII on my ps2 at home, and am looking for help in getting a working - and stable- emulator. Is there anyone who would be willing to send me an email or two on getting an emulator setup?

As for my laptop, I recently purchased a MacBook Pro. Comes stock with an Intel 2.33 ghz Core 2 Duo, 2 gigs of ram, 120 gig hard drive, and an ATI Radeon x1600 256 mb video card. Currently, I also have Windows Vista HP set up through Boot Camp.

I'm not much for playing on a keyboard, and would like to know if I can get a usb controller to work with the emulator.

Anyone who would like to help me out?? I'd also like to know which OS would be "better" for running an emulator on (Mac vs. Windows, if such option exists)

Thanks in advance

PCSX2.net - Guide
I should have said that in the first place, but I forgot it was there, stupid me:rolleyes: I've never actually used it as I had someone who knew how set it up for me way back(as in he showed me and I then knew, I was a complete noob though, I honestly didn't know the difference between a gpu and a cpu! So It wasn't my fault!), but I imagine it's farly simple!

If you think PCSX2 is an alternative, at its current stage, to your PS2, you're in a world of disappointment. Your laptop is the equivalent of mine and don't expect to get amazing speed, especially graphic heavy games like FFXII. Also, PCSX2 doesn't work for Mac, only Windows and Linux.

And I use a Logitech Rumble Pad. Plug it in, let Windows set it up and then just set up your buttons in the Cofigs.
