si_ok, thaat was the reason there was no 1.3.0. The ePSXe team thought it may be a bit unlucky. Thats why everyone is assuming that the next version is gonna be 1.5.0

Yes, but as 1.3.0 was skipped for luck, the next logical version would be 1.5.0

Yes!! Valkyrie Profile, supposedly works so i'm Happy. The Odin Freeze is supposed to be fixed and the slow battles are supposed to be fixed. YAY:)

I think a new feature that they should implement is a special game fix loader, which loads up the special game fixes whenever a game is launched that needs them. Such as FF, ect.

I'm VERY SCEPTICLE of this idea but, maybe a plugin loader that automatically sets up your plugin depending on what you've got in your computer and stuff. Once again I"M VERY SCEPTICLE of this idea and I believe that it would be quite a task and I doubt that the ePSXe crew would even glance at this idea......although it would be nice because I hate setting up my friends settings every single bloody time he wants to play a new game.

Dobbo, the various freezing points (the audience with Odin being one of them) are already fixed - just use Pete's Direct Sound plugin and enable the "spu irq - wait for cpu action" option, or use the Eternal SPU plugin, and enable the same option.

...about that new feature that you suggested, I don't know if its feasible, but ePSXe already has command-line options/switches, which is basically the same thing. In fact, in the upcoming version, in order for VP to work, (the battles, that is) one would supposedly use the "-vp" switch...

I'm just suggesting something. I know that there is the command line crap. I'm just giving my idea, no need to tell me that there is allready something else I can do. I need something that will keep my friend happy. ePSXe is keeping him quiet for now, but when he get's a game that needs a special fix, he'll come to me whining to make him a configuration that works with the game. And i'd rather not waste my time trying endlessly to make a config that works to later on find out there is a fix that will make the game work the way it was supposed to. Sorry to be a little touchy, I have exams comming up and I haven't gotten nearly enough sleep.
 
On the other hand, there WAS a 1.1.0...
It was ePSXe v1.0.1 ;)

I think the next version of ePSXeCutor and ePSXeSS (which use the same database type) will be something good for your friend then ... hehe :D

I just hope that the next epsxecutor have solved the memcards (in save state) problem ^^

ePSXeSS...Bobbi's new front-end, ooh I remember seeing pictures of that about 2-3 months ago, the interface was look'n NICE back then ;)

Shadow Lady, It was a while ago (october???) I don't remember the thread, but bobbi did post a pick or two from a frontend he was creating. it looked really nice from what I can recall.

Don't ever expect 100% from an emu. Even the mighty ZSNES doesn't run all games (Tuff E Nuff) there are glitches in games which run. No emu is ever 100%. Like _Demo_ said, ZSNES will never be complete
