Dual shock vibration function with dual power

I have a dual power gamepad (vibrating).
How can I get it to emulate dualshock?
Do I need a plugin?
If I need to configure this into the pad menu, what type of control must i choose (analog, digital, or other ?) and do I need t click on directX or on burutter?

I'm trying to work it for tekken3.

The epsxe readme says there is an optio to disable MDECs totally but I didn't find it;
can someone tell me where it is?

I'm not to sure about the disabling mdec thing, but for your controller, use the direct x option. and i have mine set as 'digital/analog (F5)'

edit: make sure u set the strength of your vibrations too!
