charik , Guyver2K6 are to be the superior of this site u guys have a pc that is beyond the recommended power and i think they can play the pcsx2 games at reasonable speed.
wants to hear from others more
best of luck

What's the point of this thread really?

For PCSX2 pretty much only CPU matters, I have a Opteron 165 overclocked to 2.8GHz which equal to AMD FX62 performance but overclocked Conroes are best, especially at ~3.5GHz. :D

Yes I get reasonable speeds in lots of games with this cpu:

Final Fantasy X: 43 - 172 fps
Kingdom Hearts: 55 - 120 fps
Disgaea 1 & 2 and Phantom Brave: 50 - 125 fps
Raiden III: 60 - 140 fps
Resident Evil 4: 20 - 60 fps
DBZ Budokai 3: 20 - 80 fps
to meantion a few

CPU : Pentium D 915 2,8 Ghz 2x2MB CACHE
GPU : ASUS Geforce 7900GT 256 MB
RAM : Corssair 1GB (2 x 512 MB, single channel) 533 Mhz

Final Fantasy X :

In critical moments 25 - 30 FPS (very few moments as for now)
Mostly the game is running on 40 - 80 FPS so it's playable on my machine (sound on).

Some 3dmark results (not much but ... for playing it's good :) ) :

3DMARK 2001 SE : 22207
3DMARK 2003 : 16533
3DMARK 2005 : 7159
3DMARK 2006 : 5078 (SM2.0 - 2140 | HDR/SM3.0 - 2282 | CPU - 1390)

what i wanna say is that video card with different vram maked difference in games just like 128 mb,256 mb and 512 mb i guess if it is correct which one is far better.
another question does the colour resolution of final fantasy differ while playing in pcsx2 from the original playstation 2.
which have greatest true colour ps2 or pcsx2.

The greatest true colors are obviously on the real PS2. For FFX, only speed and graphic quality change a little not the colors.

The PS2 uses 32 bit color depth, so does PCSX2 (32 bit is more or less standard on PCs since about the time the PS2 was released).

@topic: I don't see the point of this thread. A general hardware poll fits better in other forums.

the major idea of this thread is that i have seen many pc with high powers but still i have not seen the shots of final fantasy played in 45 fps overall.
this unique fps never decrease and at certain point it increase.
the clear point is that is this true the final fantasy is played at this fps even at menus battle and all that stuff.
if so then where are shots of it at 45 fps.
for me it worked at maximum 20-35 fps.
