Hi guys, I'm new here.

I am one of the seemingly few who have been slapped in the face with the *cdrom not found problem. We've googled and searched for solutions and tried every single one we could find but none have worked. The last time I touched the epsxe was maybe a weekish or so ago and since then I haven't touched it. It worked fine but when I started up Silent Hill (which came with an epsxe) but when I started it up just last night to play some more it gave me that error.

Is there any other solution out there that I can try? I'm running Windows Vista (unfortunately -_-).. um... I don't really know what to tell you guys about my system. Just tell me what info I need to show you to help you help me and I'll get on it.

Thanks guys.

are you mounting the image on a virtual drive?

Config > CDROM

Set whichever CDR plugin that you are using to point to your Daemon Tools virtual drive.

When running a game start it with 'Run CD' instead of 'Run ISO'.

...OK.

Post a screenshot of the CDR plugin that you are using. (ALT + PrtScr, paste into paint program, and save)

Just noticed it.....

.... oh well.
Try using this reg file: ePSXe unReg, to remove ePSXe registry entries. Download the emulator again, and set it up from scratch.

hmmm.... sounds like the emulator's main process isn't closed properly...... use a different cdr plugin.
