How much I even try I can't get Xenogears to work on ANY emulator..in the intro, after the screen shatters in the village, everything goes black and dead.
So.
Could someone please help me and make a save as early in the game as possible (not save state). It would be great if you told me what has happend until the save.

what you need to do is use petes d3d plugin (is what i use at least). It does go black in the begining intro but just keep hitting X and you will get through it. Dont worry it doesnt happen to much during the rest of the game. hope this helps

Uh, fiddle with the offscreen drawing a bit, i don't remember the right setting, but there's one that fixes it, be prepared for a big performance hit on some areas...

If your using lewpy's glide then i suggest u turn the off-screen display to extra
this will get rid of the black screen thingy
if ur using other plugins then i suggest u look of an option which is about vram stuffs...
change the option to full
