So I found my copy of Xenogears in my closet and decided I wanted to stream it. But when I was playing the game I ran into a few issues, and most the time, I was able to find the means of solving it. This of course meant I was no longer able to save game. That however is not the issue I am looking to solve.

The moments Id fought Elly, and Elly grabbed onto Id, the both fell down. After that, the game switches over to the throne (?) room in Shevat with everyone excluding Fei and the game was paused without any means of unpausing. Is there any idea on why this has happened?
