If Son is still working out the kinks with Cell Technology (As stated in a previous thread), then it may very well be possible. I read the information pages on it and it's blowing me away, to be honest. And I thought standard ASM was hard to figure out...
In any case, Xbox2 (I would like to think of it as Xenon) deserves to be released before the newer Playstation. Microsoft has alot to gain with an advantage during the holidays, unless of course they make another Xbox with better specs.
You know how regular old fasioned CG for movies (Theater flicks, not FMV's) is done? Why not utilize companies from Hollywood to make Cinematics for video games, or even enhance them to be interactive? You know how powerful the X2 would be? It would scale over the top of the limits to Gaming. Unless it doesn't work that way, which it may very well be. Hell, even if they can't make the CG interactive, the Xbox already can read DVD movie information, why not do what they did with Final Fantasy and make really detailed animations?
I have faith in the Xbox because it's underrated. People hear Xbox, they think Halo and Console version of a PC. They don't think Prince of Persia (Which is on the PC too, I know) or Fable or anything else.
...Does anyone else think I sound like a Fanboy?
