Xbox 360 controller analog not working.

I did some searching here and have spent an hour or two trying to fix it without any luck. I tried downloading two different versions of XBCD (neither show my controller under the device list), Xpadder + epsxe profiles, and of course a crash course without any of these.

Controller works fine with other applications, joystick etc tested on other emulators.

Relevant Specs:
Windows Vista 64-bit

Wow that actually worked! Thanks a lot man, 6 hours of fiddling around for such an easy solution. Didn't even have to use any external drivers/programs either.

Erm just for reference, is Metal Gear Solid supposed to take advantage of the analog sticks? By that I mean if you hold it halfway he walks, etc.

Uh oh...you see analog sticks now work (he runs around and such) but it doesn't seem to be pressure sensitive.

I have the same issue...but the thing is, when I switch to analogue mode, the controls don't work at all. I am using a wireless 360 controller.

Depends on the game, since it might not support analog at all.

How about getting the vibration to work on the 360 controller? I'm having some problems with that.
